The Torah Track |
The Torah track focuses on the first four Parashot of Sefer Bereshit.
In this track students take their first steps in the development of Biblical
literacy and in the acquisition of Biblical Hebrew.
Parashat Bereshit (Chapters 1-5)
consists of the following learning materials:
1 student workbook; 1 book for guided reading; 1 CD-ROM containing the audio-visual reading of the Parasha; 1 teacher manual; 4 library books;
1 CD containing all library books; 1 set of games; 1 set of flash cards; 1 CD containing 6 songs, musical riddles and the reading
of the verses; 1 set of big pictures illustrating the events and themes learned in the Parasha.

Parashat Noach (Chapters 6-11)
consists of the following learning materials:
1 student workbook; 1 book for guided reading; 1 CD-ROM containing the audio-visual reading of the Parasha; 1 teacher manual; 3 library books;
1 CD containing all library books; 1 set of games; 1 set of flash cards; 1 CD containing the reading of the verses; 1 set of big pictures.

Parashat Lech Lecha (Chapters 12-17)
consists of the following learning materials:
1 student workbook; 1 book for guided reading; 1 teacher manual; 1 big book; 2 library books; 1 CD containing all library books; 1 set of games;
1 set of flash cards; 1 CD containing 16 songs and a musical quiz; 2 classroom posters; 2 big pictures.

Parashat Va'yera (Chapters 18-21)
consists of the following learning materials:
1 student workbook; 1 book for guided reading; 1 CD-ROM containing the audio-visual reading of
the Parasha; 1 teacher manual; 4 library books; 1 CD containing all library books; 1 set of games;
1 set of flash cards; 1 CD containing the reading of the verses; 1 set of big pictures.
The Torah track also features 3 classroom posters, relating to all 4 units. |
