The Torah Track |
The Torah track continues the study of Sefer Bereshit, focusing on Parashot Chayei Sarah,
Toltod and Vayetze. In this track students continue to develop Biblical literacy and the
acquisition of Biblical Hebrew, as well as Torah learning skills.
Parashat Chayei Sarah (Chapters 23-25) consists of the following learning materials:
1 student workbook; 1 chumashon, including the full parasha text and a glossary,
as well as Rashi commentaries on selected verses; 1 audio CD containing the reading
of the verses (for activation in the classroom); 1 CD-ROM containing the audio-visual
reading of the Parasha (for review and reading practice at home); 1 library book;
1 set of flash cards; 1 set of big pictures illustrating the events and themes learned
in the parasha, as well as key words and phrases.

Parashat Toldot (Chapters 25-28) consists of the following learning materials:
1 student workbook; 1 chumashon; 1 audio CD containing the reading of the verses (for activation in the classroom);
1 CD-ROM containing the audio-visual reading of the Parasha (for review and reading practice at home); 1 library book;
1 set of flash cards; 1 set of big pictures illustrating the events and themes learned in the parasha, as well as key words and phrases.
